Free diabetes & hypertension screening at Ngong — community healthcare in action
Today we partnered with Ngong Sub County Hospital to screen residents — prevention is power.
Today we partnered with Ngong Sub County Hospital team led by Dr. Faith, MCA Mbiriri, MCA Eli Gor, Sub County Admin Muchiri and many well-wishers to conduct a free diabetes and hypertension screening in Ngong town.
The disease prevalence in Kenya is about 4.5% overall with higher rates in urban centres. Diabetes and hypertension are manageable with proper diet, consistent medication, and increased physical activity. Early detection saves lives — and reduces long-term treatment costs.
Let's support prevention through community screening and education — every test and every conversation matters.
